I have been playing around with adding more structured percussive elements to our droney/dark ambient music and the results have actually been pretty interesting. It is amazing how different a track becomes when you add different styles of beats to it. I am going to upload some before and after examples. In the meantime there is a new Abuse Tactics recording on our Soundcloud page. Enjoy.

Massive has quickly become one of my favorite and most used software synthesizers and I thought I would pass this on to other people who use Massive or are thinking about trying it(you really should, it is a great synth and you can get lost programming in it for days.. HIGHLY addictive)
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I have been slammed with work and getting ready for our move that is coming up but will be back in full force as soon as possible. There is also some good news coming related to blogging that I will post about as soon as the details are worked out!

I know the blog has been dead lately, I have been pretty busy with work and preparing for some pretty serious life changes that are coming in the very near future.. Jenn and I are going to be in New York performing at Electro Music 2010 in September.

This project has definitely grown into a different and unique style compared to when it was my solo electronic drone/noise project for sure.
